How the Mastery of the Method liberates us from the enslavement to it. -Roma Buchimensky (RCHom, IACH, MSc)
Roma Buchimensky (RCHom, IACH, MSc) is a classical homeopath. He is the founder and general director of Via Homeopatica - International Homeopathic Center and will be the moderator for the Homeopathic Live Journal Sessions. After obtaining a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences at Tel Aviv University, he studied homeopathy at the Israeli Homeopathic College, at George Vithoulkas’ International Academy of Homeopathy and with many of the world’s prominent homeopaths. Roma runs a busy clinic and directs post-graduate clinical training. Roma heads the Homeopathic Emergency Team in Israel, a volunteer group formed in 2006 that offers homeopathic emergency assistance. Committed to the expansion and development of homeopathy worldwide, Roma and his Via Homeopatica team have organized dozens of international seminars to date, and advanced the translation and publication of many homeopathy books and journals in multiple languages. His latest venture is Homeopathy Master Classes, an Internet portal for the advancement of homeopathic education.
Miasms: A New Look Through Epigenetics-Dr. Manish Bhatia.
Nearly 200 years ago, the founder of Homeopathy, Dr. Samuel Hahnemann found out that the effect of many diseases like Scabies, Gonorrhea and Syphilis can be present even after the acute infection is over. He found out that this effect could be present in future generations without the actual infection being acquired. This trans-generational effect manifested in the form of ‘disease predispositions’. He called these effects ‘Miasms’. The effect in the same generation was called ‘acquired miasm’ and the effect that was present in future generations was called ‘inherited miasm’.
The idea of miasms has remained one of the most controversial propositions of Hahnemann. Some of his detractors even called it the biggest mistake of his life. But the hypothesis has persisted in homeopathic circles and homeopaths still use it clinically.
Epigenetics is a new stream of science, which deals with the effect of environmental and other factors on our genetic phenotype. It basically studies the heritable effects of what we do and experience in this lifetime in our future generations and has strong parallels with Hahnemann’s theory of chronic miasms.
Dr. Bhatia has been working on finding the correlation between acquired genetic predisposition and the theory of chronic miasms. In his lecture Dr. Bhatia will try to present his findings towards an epigenetic explanation for the theory of chronic miasms.
The Family Dynamics and its importance in homeopathic management of ADD and ADHD

We all face the fact that the number of children with attention deficit and hyperactivity increases last years. As homeopaths we usually accept that the homeopathic interview (the picture given by the child and the parents) provides all needed information to prescribe the right remedy. In difficult cases we look for hetero anamnesis – how somebody else will describe the patient. This is not enough. What we really need is a clear objective picture of the Family Dynamics and their changes prior and during the pregnancy, after the delivery, prior and after the family gets aware what the problem of the child is. When we do not get good results with remedies, prescribed on totality of the child, we can prescribe on the totality of family dynamics.
Each family has its own patterns of relating to each other. These are their family dynamics. Understanding family dynamics is important aspect of successful homeopathic management in every case. In ADD and ADHD cases we need not only to understand , but also to make the family aware that if the members do not change their established roles, patterns and attitudes their child will not improve significantly. It means to provide specialized homeopathic help and adequate support for the family to understand the problematic patterns and work over them.
We have to remember that sometimes our good willed attitude to explain the parents what happened with the child and who is responsible for the problem has a negative effect upon family dynamics. We create a guilt complex or quarreling or … – The homeopaths have to use special communication skills and techniques in order to help without creating new aggravating factors and without being “involved” in the family. Family dynamics can be obstacles to cure, but may be also the fundament of successful treatment.

Handwriting Analysis and Homeopathy -Boris Shoitov (ND).
C.G. Jung wrote: “No one can get out of his own skin. We act as our psychological past, i.e. as our cerebral organization dictates. For this reason, we are bound to expose ourselves in association experiment in exactly the same way as we do in our own handwriting.”
Handwriting is most unique and most individual feature of human personality and can serves as a very indicative sign of deepest changes of the personality. Hereby, handwriting can be considered as individual homeopathic symptom and can help to homeopath in more complete understanding of patient’s core problems. The science that studies the handwriting is graphology. There are a lot of practical applications of graphology. The original purpose of handwriting analysis was the determination of the character of the writer but it was also found that handwriting expressed significant indication as to the mental and physical health of writer. Using principles of graphological analysis the homeopath can get complementary keys to reaching similimum.
In the lecture will be shown the psychological meanings of the repertorial rubrics, which include the characteristics of handwriting, described so-called graphological “muriatic syndrome”, the combination of graphological signs that are stable, i.e. repeatedly encountered in the context of one handwriting and correspond with the muriatic group.
Also will be discussed possible approaches in application of the handwriting analysis to practical work of homeopath with illustrative case examples.
